Hysteroscopy procedure
A hysteroscopy is where a doctor looks inside the womb (uterus) by using a small telescope called a hysteroscope. The hysteroscopy is carefully passed up the vagina and cervix and into the womb, where the doctor can check for gynaecological problems, such as fibroids, heavy periods or early signs of cancer.
