The genetics department will off genetic counselling, diagnostic and testing service to individuals affected by genetic disorders, such as cystic fibrosis, sickle cell anaemia and muscular dystrophy. Genetic counselling services are also offered to parents of children affected by genetic disorders. They will also advise parents before conception about the chances of having a child with the genetic condition.
