ACE inhibitors and A2RB drugs
Angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors and angiotensin II receptor blockers (A2RB) are medicines that lower blood pressure. They are used to treat high blood pressure and heart failure and to protect the kidneys from damage if a patient has diabetes. ACE inhibitors and A2RBs are only available on prescription and must be taken exactly as prescribed by a doctor.
