Spire Parkway Hospital in Solihull has 57 beds, including an 8 bedded Day Care facility, and four operating theatres. Two of these are major operating theatres equipped with laminar flow - this is a special clean air system which reduces the risk of infection during operation. It is particularly useful during orthopaedic procedures, especially joint replacement. The hospital can perform surgery for breast and bowel cancer, and is BUPA Approved for the provision of breast and colorectal cancer services. Chemotherapy is also available in order to treat cancer, and mammography is available in order to diagnose breast cancer. A range of other diagnostic services are available.
