The hospital has 36 beds, including day case beds, and two major operating theatres. Both are equipped with a clean air system which reduces the risk of infection during operations. Spire Methley Park is able to perform surgery for both breast and bowel cancer facilities, and the bowel cancer unit is BUPA-approved. Although the hospital does not perform surgery on children of under three, it is able to operate on those between the ages of three and twelve. There are always at least two members of staff on site with Paediatric Advanced Life Support Training, as well as a Resident Medical Officer, so there is cover in the event of an emergency. Diagnostic services include MRI scans, x-ray, ultrasound and bone densitometry - the last being useful for the diagnosis of the brittle bone disease osteoporosis.
