Spire Hospital Little Aston is, with 69 beds, a reasonably large private hospital. It offers a range of medical, surgical and diagnostic facilities to Sutton Coldfield and the surrounding areas of the West Midlands. There are three critical care beds at the hospital, and always at least two members of staff on site with Advanced Life Support training. This means that support is always available in the event of an emergency. The hospital has four operating theatres. Three of these are major theatres and of these two have laminar flow. This is a special clean air system which reduces the risk of infection during operations, and which is particularly useful for orthopaedic procedures, especially joint replacement.

Surgical services for breast and bowel cancer are both offered, and both units are BUPA-approved. Chemotherapy is also available to treat the disease. Physiotherapy services are offered, and special treatment for sports injury. There is a gym on site to aid with treatment.
