The Spire Hospital Hull and East Riding is a 56-bed private hospital which offers a range of surgical, medical and diagnostic services. The hospital has nine critical care beds, and there are always at least two members of staff with Advanced Life Support training on site at any one time. Heart bypass operations can be performed on site, and cardiac catheterisation, exercise ECG and coronary angioplasty are all offered. However, the hospital does not offer cardiac rehabilitation services. The hospital is able to perform surgery for breast cancer and colorectal cancer, and both units are BUPA-approved. Diagnostic services available at the hospital include MRI and CT scans, x-ray, ultrasound and mammography.
