The Spire Hartswood Hospital has 58 beds, three major operating theatres and one minor operating theatre. Two of the major operating theatres have laminar flow - this is a special clean air system which reduces the risk of infection during operations, and which is particularly useful during orthopaedic procedures. The hospital has two critical care beds, and there are always at least three members of staff on site with Advanced Life Support Training.

The hospital offers a range of diagnostic services, including MRI scans, CT scans, x-ray, ultrasound, bone densitometry, mammography and exercise ECG. Spire Hartswood is able to provide chemotherapy, radiotherapy and palliative care. It has a surgical service for breast cancer and colorectal cancer. Its breast care unit is BUPA-approved, but its bowel cancer unit is not.
