Spire Hospital Cardiff has 64 beds, three operating theatres and one ambulatory care and diagnostic suite. The three major operating theatres have laminar flow. This is a special clean air system, which reduces the risk of infection during operations. It is particularly useful during orthopaedic procedures - specifically joint replacement. Diagnostic services include MRI, CT and PET scanning, bone densitometry, x-ray and ultrasound services.

The hospital is able to perform surgery for breast cancer, and the breast care unit is BUPA-approved. The hospital provides a good range of complementary therapies - acupuncture, aromatherapy, homeopathy, reiki and reflexology are all offered. It also has a comprehensive range of physiotherapy services. There is a rehabilitative gymnasium on site, and hydrotherapy and sports injury services.
