The 68-bedded Spire Cambridge Lea Hospital offers a wide range of medical, surgical and diagnostic services. The hospital has four critical care beds and at least two members of staff with Advanced Life Support Training on site at any one time. The hospital has four major operating theatres in all - two of which are equipped with laminar flow. This is a special clean air system which reduces the risk of infection during operations, and which is particularly useful for orthopaedic procedures, especially joint replacement.

The hospital has static MRI and mobile CT and PET/CT scanners - these scans are much better than conventional x-rays at imaging the soft tissue in the body. The hospital has a surgical service for breast, bowel and gynaecological cancers, and all units are BUPA-approved. Cardiac catheterisation, exercise ECG, and coronary angioplasty are offered in addition to all major surgical specialties. The hospital offers physiotherapy, sports injury service, and exercise programs.
