Duchy Hospital is Cornwall's only private hospital with an excellent reputation for delivering high quality healthcare treatments and services. Duchy Hospital was opened in 1981 by the late HRH Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother and is located in a pleasant rural setting on the outskirts of Truro.

By investing in advanced medical technology, the hospital offers a wide range of treatments and services. The two fully equipped ultra clean air theatres are particularly suitable for orthopaedic procedures such as arthroscopy, hip replacement and knee replacements. The hospital is also equipped with a day case theatre, with endoscopy facilities.

Hospital treatments

A wide range of diagnostic and treatment facilities are available including x-ray, MRI, ultrasound, physiotherapy, sports injury clinic, continence and health screening. Competitively priced cosmetic surgery is available for a wide range of procedures including breast enlargement, tummy tuck, liposuction and facial surgery by our consultant led service. The hospital is also able to provide a range of outpatient clinics including IPL Hair Removal, Accent skin tightening and a Mole Clinic for skin checks.
