Nuffield Health Wolverhampton Hospital

The Wolverhampton Nuffield Hospital has 39 beds, and three operating theatres. Of the two major theatres, one is equipped with laminar flow. This clean air system helps to reduce the risk of infection during operations, and is particularly useful for orthopaedic procedures. There are surgical services for both breast and bowel cancer, and both units are BUPA-approved. Chemotherapy is also available for the treatment of the disease. Palliative care is available for patients whose illness is terminal.

Although the hospital does not perform surgery on children under three years of age, it is able to operate on children between three and twelve years old. There are always at least two members of staff on site with current Paediatric Advanced Life Support training, meaning help can be sought in the event of an emergency. Complementary therapies are available at The Wolverhampton Nuffield  acupuncture, aromatherapy and hypnotherapy are all on offer.
