Nuffield Health Hull Hospital

The Hull Nuffield Hospital is based in Cottingham, within the grounds of the NHS Castle Hill Hospital. It has 38 beds, and provides a range of medical, surgical and diagnostic facilities. The hospital provides surgical services for both bowel and breast cancer, although only the breast cancer unit is BUPA-approved. Chemotherapy is also available to treat the disease. Although the hospital does not perform surgery on children under three years of age, it can operate on children between three and 12 years old. There is always at least one member of staff on site with Paediatric Advanced Life Support training, which means help is available in the event of an emergency. A range of complementary therapies is also provided at Hull Nuffield - acupuncture, aromatherapy and hypnotherapy are all available. Diagnostic services provided at the hospital include CT and MRI scans, x-ray, ultrasound and mammography.
