The 42-bedded Nuffield Hospital Haywards Heath provides a range of private healthcare services to the local population. Diagnostic services available include CT and MRI scans. These are much better than conventional x-rays for imaging soft tissue in the body. X-ray and ultrasound are also offered, and mammography for the diagnosis of breast cancer. The hospital can perform surgery in order to treat breast and bowel cancer, and both units are BUPA-approved. Chemotherapy and radiotherapy, however, are not available at the hospital.
