Glasgow Nuffield Hospital has 48 beds, and offers a range of private healthcare services to local people. There are three operating theatres at the hospital. Two of these are major operating theatres, and one is equipped with laminar flow - this is a special clean air system which reduces the risk of infection during operations. It is especially useful during orthopaedic procedures, specifically joint replacement. The hospital is able to perform surgery for breast and bowel cancer, and both units are BUPA-approved. In addition, chemotherapy is available to treat the disease, and palliative care services for patients with terminal illnesses.

Glasgow Nuffield offers a range of complementary medicines - acupuncture, aromatherapy, homeopathy and hypnotherapy are all available. The hospital has one critical care bed, and there is always at least one member of staff on duty with current Advanced Life Support training. This means that help can always be easily sought in the event of an emergency.
