Nuffield Hospital Derby is a 50-bed private hospital providing medical, surgical and diagnostic services. The hospital is able to operate to treat breast and bowel cancer, and both units have BUPA-approval. Palliative care services are available for those patients with a terminal illness. The hospital has three major operating theatres, two of which are equipped with laminar flow. This is a clean air system which reduces the risk of infection.
