London Clinic, The

Located in the heart of London's academic medical community on Harley Street, The London Clinic is a fully-equipped acute hospital which offers a wide range of surgical, medical and diagnostic services.  The hospital has 202 beds, four minor theatres and eight major operating theatres - three of which have laminar flow. This is a clean air system which reduces the risk of infection during operations.  Reassuringly, there is a consultant-led 'Level 3' Critical Care Unit at the hospital should emergency support be required, and there is always a minimum of two members of staff with Advanced Life Support Training on duty at any one time.

The hospital offers paediatric surgery for children from the age of three to sixteen and they can guarantee that there will be always be at least one staff member on hand who is qualified in Advanced Paediatric Life Support.  There is a range of cancer treatments available at The London Clinic: in addition to surgery, they can also provide chemotherapy on site, as well as palliative care services for terminally ill patients.  Their range of diagnostic services includes MRI and CT scanning, X-ray, mammography, ultrasound, bone densitometry and CPX surgical assessment. The hospital also offers a variety of physiotherapy services including specialist treatment for sports injuries, hydrotherapy and a gymnasium on site to help with patient rehabilitation.
