The hospital offers 120 beds, of which twelve are critical care beds. There are nine operating theatres, four of which are minor theatres and five are major theatres, of which two have laminar flow. This is a clean air system, which reduces the risk of infection during operations. The hospital offers a range of cardiac services, including exercise ECG, coronary angioplasty, heart bypass grafting, and cardiac rehabilitation. The hospital offers a range of physiotherapy services, including specialist treatment for sports injuries. There is a gymnasium on site to help with patient rehabilitation. Surgical services for both breast and bowel cancers are provided, and both are BUPA-approved. Chemotherapy is also offered to treat the disease, and palliative care services are available for patients whose illness is terminal. The hospital is well located to serve the city and the south eastern counties and also offers a diagnostic satellite unit in Canary Wharf.
