Cheshire and Merseyside NHS Treatment Centre
Address & description

Interhealth Canada UK is the parent company who operates the Cheshire & Merseyside NHS Treatment Centre. Interhealth Canada have a wealth of experience in developing and managing healthcare facilities around the world, in locations such as Dubai, Kuwait, Abu Dhabi and the Turks and Kakos Islands as well as the two facilities in the UK at Kidderminster and Runcorn.
The Cheshire & Merseyside NHS Treatment Centre provides specialist orthopaedic service for NHS patients. The treatment centre was opened in 2006 to provide increased capacity for orthopaedic services in the region. The treatment centre works in partnership with the NHS.
Patients are offered a ‘one stop shop’ service whereby they will see their consultant, have any diagnostic tests required (including CT & MRI) all at the same out patient appointment. If surgery is required patients are offered a date for their procedure and have a pre operative assessment at the same time. In many cases the patient does not return to the hospital until the date of surgery. Our patients find this service convenient and efficient as it negates the need to visit the treatment centre multiply times.
We are proud of our infection control results, we have no MRSA or C Diff issues at the treatment centre. This is due to our robust infection control policy which includes all patients being screened for these infections prior to admission. These measurers have ensured that our patients have their treatment in a clean and safe environment.
We provide excellent patient care and we are always looking at how we can improve on what we do. We offer all patients the opportunity to complete out patient satisfaction survey and we publish the results of these surveys on our website. www.interhealthcareservcies.co.uk 99% of patients say they would recommend us to a friend!
