Based in Windsor, Berkshire, BMI The Princess Margaret Hospital is, with 80 beds, a large private hospital. It has two critical care beds, and there is always a resident medical officer and at least one member of staff on duty with Advanced Life Support training. There are four operating theatres at the hospital, three are major operating theatres, and one is a minor procedures theatre. Two of the major theatres have laminar flow, which is is a clean air system that reduces the risk of infection during operations.

A range of diagnostic services is offered by the hospital, including MRI and CT scans, x-ray, ultrasound, bone densitometry, cardiac catheterisation and mammography. The hospital has a surgical service for both breast and bowel cancer, and both units are BUPA-approved. Chemotherapy is undertaken in a purpose-built oncology unit, and palliative care services for patients whose illness is terminal. The hospital is able to perform surgery on children from 0-12 years of age and, again, there is always at least one member of staff with Paediatric Advanced Life Support training on site.
