BMI The Beardwood Hospital has 31 beds, including one for critical care. Both of the major operating theatres have laminar flow, a clean air system that helps reduce the risk of infection during surgery, this is especially important during orthopaedic procedures. Although the hospital does not provide MRI scans, x-rays, CT mammography, for the detection of breast cancer and ultrasound are available. Surgery services are available for 3-12 year olds and there is always a minimum of one member of staff with Paediatric Advanced Life Support Training.

The hospital offers a range of physiotherapy services, and a gymnasium on site is available. There is also specialised sports injury treatment. The cancer units for both bowel cancer and breast cancer are BUPA approved; chemotherapy however, is not available. It is possible to receive both acupuncture and aromatherapy treatment at the hospital.
