BMI Ross Hall Hospital is a large private hospital with 101 beds, five of which are for critical care. There is one minor and three major operating theatres. Two of the major theatres are fitted with laminar flow - a special clean air system helping to reduce the risk of infection during surgery. Heart bypass surgery is available as is coronary angioplasty and exercise ECG. As well as mammography, cardiac catheterisation, ultrasound and x-ray, the hospital has MRI and CT scans available, these are superior to conventional x-rays when imaging soft tissue.

Specialist sports injury treatment and physiotherapy are offered, although the hospital does not provide hydrotherapy. Surgery is available for 3-12 year olds and there is always at least one member of staff with Paediatric Advanced Life Support Training at any time and a minimum of 10 staff with Advanced Life Support training, so help is always available in the event of an emergency. Both the breast cancer and bowel cancer units are BUPA approved and chemotherapy is offered for treatment of the disease and patients for whom the disease is terminal are offered palliative care. Acupuncture and hypnotherapy are also available.
