Queen Alexandra Hospital, Portsmouth
Queen Alexandra Hospital is in Cosham, Portsmouth and has 755 beds. Queen Elizabeth Hospital NHS Trust (QEH) was formed in March 2001 when services relocated to a new hospital in Woolwich in the London Borough of Greenwich. QEH was developed via the government's Private Finance Initiative (PFI) and is located on the site previously occupied by the Queen Elizabeth Military Hospital. The 500 bed hospital provides a range of acute hospital services mainly to the residents of Greenwich as well as to a natural catchment from our neighbouring borough of Bexley and, increasingly, from further afield.

Queen Elizabeth Medical Centre, Birmingham
University Hospital Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust runs two hospitals, the Queen Elizabeth and Selly Oak, which are situated 1.5 miles apart in South Birmingham. The principal activities of the Trust are to provide healthcare for the local population of South Birmingham, to provide general and specialist healthcare for a local, regional and, in certain specialities, a national population. It is also to provide an environment for teaching medical, nursing and allied health professionals and for clinical research.

As part of a £24m modernisation programme at East Kent Hospitals NHS Trust the Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother Hospital (QEQMH) in Margate has seen the refurbishment of the Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU); an expanded surgical ward; a new operating theatre built with extended recovery area; the Rainbow children's ward moved to a new location and extended; the labour delivery suite refurbished and a new caesarean theatre completed; a larger gynaecology/gynaeoncology ward created; and the Clinical Decision Unit extended.

Queen Mary's Hospital for Children, Carshalton
The Queen Mary's Hospital for Children is a separate hospital located on the St Helier Hospital site. Within the children's hospital, a range of services dedicated to the needs of children is provided, including radiology, outpatients, day surgery, inpatients, assessment unit, therapy services and pharmacy services. The hospital provides a significant range of general and specialist services for children. There are over 36 beds, used as follows and there is also a dedicated Paediatric Accident and Emergency Department, within the St Helier main A&E department.
