- James Cook University Hospital, Middlesbrough
- The James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough, which is run by South Tees Hospitals NHS Trust, is two hospitals in one. It is firstly a district general hospital for the local population and secondly a specialist hospital for people living in the whole of Teesside, North Yorkshire, Durham and Cumbria.
- James Paget Hospital, Great Yarmouth
- The James Paget University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust provides comprehensive acute care for the population of Great Yarmouth, Lowestoft and the South Waveney area, and for visitors to the area. This acute care is supported by care in community hospitals for those living in and around the district. It serves a population of approximately 230,000.
- John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford
- The John Radcliffe Hospital (JR) was opened in the 1970s and is Oxfordshire's main accident and emergency site. It also provides acute medical and surgical services, trauma, intensive care, cardiac services and women's services. As of January 2007, it also houses the Children's Hospital and the majority of services previously located at the Radcliffe Infirmary. It is situated in Headington, about three miles east of Oxford city centre.
