- Calderdale Royal Hospital, Halifax
- This modern hospital opened in 2001 and is one of the two main hospitals run by the Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust - one of the top performing Trusts in the country. The independent Healthcare Commission rated us 'excellent' for both the quality of our services and the use of our resources - one of only 19 nationwide. We provide an accident and emergency department at the hospital, as well as a whole range of outpatient, day case and inpatient services. There are two main car parks available - one by the main entrance at the front of the hospital and the other by the Children's and Women's Unit.

In November 2002 a new urodynamic service was introduced for patients with bladder problems. As a result it is now possible to offer assessment and confirmation of bladder dysfunction, helping to speed up the diagnosis enabling the patient to be treated more quickly. There is also a state of the art Urology Table, which expands the range of procedures the Consultant Urologists can undertake.
