Kim Greaves is Consultant Cardiologist and Head of Department at Poole Hospital NHS Trust. He also Professor of Cardiology at Bournemouth University and an Honorary Senior Lecturer in Cardiology at Southampton University.
His specialist area of expertise is in imaging of the heart. He was responsible for the set up of the cardiac imaging services at Poole Hospital which is known to be one of the best in the South West Uk for patients and training alike.
Kim is trained in all forms of echocardiography (including stress echocardiography), CT coronary angiography and cardiac MRI.
Kim is passionate about research and is currently principle research supervisor to 1 PhD and 1 MPhil students.

Kim Greaves is a consultant cardiologist working at Poole Hospital NHS Trust and the Harbour hospital. He has excellent communication skills and enjoys helping those patents with a wide variety of heart problems. He is the head of the cardiology department at Poole Hospital NHS Trust, and also Professor of Cardiology at Bournemouth University. His research interests are in the microcirculatory function of the heart and diabetes. He has published widely in international journals and is an invited speaker at national and international conferences.
