Professional profile
I am currently Professor of Allergy and Environmental Health at Kings College London. My clinical interest is the way food allergy and food intolerance impact on human health and the 'internal environment' of the gut. Many chronic conditions such as irritable bowel syndrome, Crohns disease, migraine, hyperactivity, asthma, rhinitis, eczema, urticaria, arthralgia and also fatigue (to name but a few conditions!), will respond to a change in diet and suitable programmed nutritional support.
Chronic fatigue/ME and particular cases of chronic fungal infection, e.g., candida, can also respond to interventional management.
The cost benefit analysis of removing the cause, or inciting agent in some of these chronic conditions is considerable. Patients can be returned to health.
