Background Information
Professional profile:
I am a consultant spinal surgeon working at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital. My sole practice involves spines and I am a subspecialist in spinal deformities.
My passion is the management of spinal conditions by the safest and most effective method possible. Surgery in my view should always be a last resort.
I am creating an objective patient outcomes database which will allow me to better inform my patients about what I offer as well as help me give my patients the best treatment available.
Personal profile:
Having a young family certainly keeps me busy but after having cycled in the Alps on a stage of the Tour de France in the Etape Du Tour all my other free time is spent on a racing bike.
I have been a keen hockey player over the years for Stevenage hockey club as well as played cricket (badly) for Totteridge and Whetstone.
