I trained in South Wales as an SHO and gained my FRCS before gaining a place on the All Wales Orthopaedic training scheme. After passing my FRCS ( Tr & Orth ) exam I spent a year in Adelaide doing a fellowship in Lower Limb and Sposrts Surgery.
I am now a full time Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon in Trauma and Orthopaedics at the Royal Glamorgan Hospital. During the last seven years I have persued my interest in lower limb and sports surgery. I have been Clinical Director and Audit Lead during this time.
I am committed to training both Specialist Registrars and SHOs and am an Honorary Clinical Tutor at Cardiff Medical School.
I am active in research and have published my work in peer review journals and have presented at regional, national and inetrnational meetings.
