Professional profile
My weekly work is all within the field of Reproductive Medicine and Surgery. I am a Director of the Oxford Fertility Unit Ltd. and Medical Manager of the IVF Unit. I am responsible for the Oxford Recurrent Miscarriage Clinic and the Oxford PCOS Clinic. My operating is 95% laparoscopic or hysteroscopic and includes myomectomies (fibroid removal), hysterectomies, ovarian cystectomies, treatment of endometriosis and/or adhesions, and tubal surgery.

Research interests
I am running a number of research studies in assisted conception including a large randomised controlled trial examining the use of Metformin in treatment of women with ovulatory polycystic ovaries (PCO) during IVF treatment. I am also examining the genetics of male infertility and most recently have started the UK's first IVM (oocyte in-vitro maturation) treatment programme.
