I qualified at the Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School. After house officer posts at Charing Cross and Epsom District Hospital I Demonstrated Anatomy at Charing Cropss and Westminister Medical School before taking Primary FRCS exams. My Surgical Training was undertaken at the Hammersmith, Charing Cross, Birmingham Accident, Hemel Hempstead General, Wexham Park, Hillingdon, Central Middlesex, Royal London and St Mary's Hospitals

I was appointed as a Consultant Surgeon at Queen Mary's Hospital Roehampton and Kingston Hospital in 1998 and practice in laparoscopic adult upper gut surgery and general children's surgery. I have been Clinical Lead for General Surgery, Clinical Lead for Upper GI Cancer, Chairman of the Paediatric Surgical Forum, Director of Modernisation, Clinical Tutor and Undergraduate Vice-Dean. I am currently Lead for Consent Issues and run several local, national and international training courses for Surgeons in Training. I have a special ineterst in Surgical Diathermy (electrosurgery). I am an occacional advisor to ECRI and CEDAR on Electrosurgery and convenor and faculty on training courses in surgery at The Royal College of Surgeons of England and Locally at Kingston Hospital

I have a local private practice in Surrey and undertake medico legal work in Upper GI and Laparoscopic surgery.

I am a laparoscopic surgeon with an interest in the upper gut and a subinterest in general paediatric surgery. My NHS practices are based at Kingston Hospital, Surrey and Queen Mary's Hospital, Roehampton. I have an interest in medical teaching and education at national and international level and a specialty interest in medical electrosurgery.
