The menstrual disorders clinic has been running for the last five years with
experience. We run a very effieicent service where about 70% of women only need one visit and 20% need two visits only. This has been achieved by introduction of outpatient sonohysterography, use of Miren IUS and thermoablation. As a result our hysterectomy rate for women presenting with menorrhagia is now down to 5%.
