We have recently completed a long-term research programme comparing total to subtotal hysterectomy, and this work will shortly be published in the New England Journal of Medicine.
We have also completed work on the impact of treating bacterial vaginosis on the risk of miscarriage and preterm labour in a low risk population - the major paper has recently been submitted to the Lancet.
I am currently co-authoring a book on the Immunology of Reproduction.
My major clinical interest now in gynaecological research is in the management of uterine fibroids.
