Professional profile
I was appointed as Consultant Plastic and Hand Surgeon based at the Queen Victoria Hospital, East Grinstead in 1993. My undergraduate and general surgical training was based at the Middlesex Hospital. My training in Plastic Surgery was based in Norwich and at East Grinstead and was completed by a Fellowship in Hand Surgery at the Pulvertaft Hand Surgery Unit at the Derby Royal Infirmary. My practice is confined to Hand Surgery. My main clinical and research interests include rheumatoid and osteo-arthritis of the hand and wrist, nerve compression and Dupuytren’s contracture. I am an ex-member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Hand Surgery and member of the Council of the British Society for Surgery of the Hand. I am Lead Consultant in our Department of Plastic Surgery. (HJCRB 2004)
