Professional profile

I provide both elective and trauma servce as part of the shoulder unit at St George's Hospital. I am also an Honorary Senior Lecturer and examiner at St. George's Hospital Medical School. I undertake surgical research and publish regularly in international journals. I hold the patent for a novel arthroscopic procedure. I regularly lecture and teach postgraduate shoulder and arthroscopic surgery nationally and internationally.

I have multiple research interests in the fields of shoulder and elbow surgery as well as arthroscopy. I have developed and arthroscopic procedure that is now accepted worlwide with over 1500 cases being performed to date. I am also involved in surgical instrument design as well as the basic science related to arthroscopy and shoulder replacement.
