Dhiren Nehra has been working with the Epsom & St Helier Trust since 1999 with clinical sessions at both hospitals. He has been the Cancer Specialist for the SW Thames Upper GI Cancer Network. He graduated in Bombay with MS In General Surgery and underwent Higher Training in Wales in Upper GI surgery culminating in MPhil Thesis in Bile Reflux in Barrett’s Oesophagus. He gained further experience at University Hospital California, Los Angeles where he spent a year training in the Foregut Unit under Dr DeMeester and also visited the Gastric Cancer Unit at the National Cancer Hospital in Tokyo.
His current clinical practice include most aspects of day-case general surgery (hernia, varicose veins, anorectal, lumps etc) in addition to specialist gastrointestinal & laparoscopic surgery
