Mr Sellu qualified from Manchester University Medical School. He trained widely in all aspects of General Surgery in major hospitals in Manchester, London, Southampton and Birmingham. He did specialist training in Gastrointestinal and Colorectal surgery in London and Birmingham. He was awarded the Master of Surgery degree from Manchester University and holds a Master of Science degree in Medical Informatics from London University. He is Fellow of the Royal Colleges of Surgeons of England and of Edinburgh.
He was full time Senior Lecturer in Surgery at the Royal Postgraduate Medical School, now Imperial College, and Honorary Consultant Surgeon at Hammersmith Hospital in London, from 1993 to 200. He now works in Ealing Hospital in West London as Consultant Surgeon with an interest in Colorectal Surgery.
He is Clinical Associate Professor in Surgery at the American University of the Caribbean based in Florida, USA.
Mr Sellu is an experienced General and Colorectal Surgeon and his interests include hernia, pilonidal sinus, haemorrhoids, anal fissure, colon cancer and inflammatory bowel disease surgery, including pouch operations.
