I am a Fellow of The Royal College of Surgeons of England and The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. I am also a Member of The Vascular Society of Great Britain and Ireland, The European Society of Vascular Surgery and The Association of Surgeons of Great Britain and Ireland.
I trained at Manchester Medical School from where he qualified in 1991. I received my post-graduate training at the University Hospitals of South Manchester, Brigham and Women's Hospital and Harvard Medical School and St Mary's Hospital London.
My fields of expertise include, the diagnosis and management of vascular disease with particular emphasis in the use of new technologies for minimally invasive, endovascular, laser and open vascular surgery for:
1. varicose vein disease, venous flairs and leg ulcers
2. carotid disease and stroke
3. aortic (abdominal and thoracic) aneurysms and dissections
4. diabetic and peripheral vascular disease
5. axillary and palmar hyperhydrosis
6. arteriovenous malformations
7. thoracic outlet syndrome
8. vasculitis and Raynaud's disease
