  • Details : I have been the audit lead for ophthalmology since 1999. I prepare an annual audit programme involving re-audits to close the audit cycle. I prospectively audit my entire sub-specialty workload in vitreo-retinal surgery to ensure my outcomes are within Nationally agreed standards. I regularly perform sample audits of my cataract surgery. My rate of vitreous loss is below 1%.
