Professional profile
I have a general colorectal interest in colorectal cancer and inflammatory bowel disease with a particular interest in Crohn's disease. My specialist area of clinical expertise is in the management of surgical catastrophe, including enterocutaneous fistulae and short bowel syndrome. St Mark's Hospital runs one of the two national referral centres for such problems and I am lead surgeon to the Intestinal Failure Unit.
