Studied medicine at Oxford University with subsequent training at London University. Have held training posts in major London teaching hospitals with specialist neurology posts at The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, Atkinson Morley's Hospital, Hammersmith and Charing Cross. Completed a PhD under supervision of the late Professor David Marsden. Appointed Consultant on the NHS at Hammersmith Hospitals NHS Trust and Senior Lecturer at Imperial College since 1994. Private clincial work at Parkside Hospital. On-going research interests into migraine and sleep disturbances in women.
