Professional profile

Dr Naeem Ahmed was appointed as a Consultant in Pain Medicine and Anaesthesia at Poole Hospital in May 2008. He did his higher training in Oxford and a clinical fellowship in Pain Medicine at St Mary’s Hospital in London. He is the Lead Clinician for the Department of Pain Medicine at Poole hospital. His specialist interests include Spinal, Pelvic and Facial pain management. Since his appointment he has set up an interventional service for patients with cancer pain at Poole Hospital. He is part of the multidisciplinary facial pain clinic at the Nuffield Health Hospital Bournemouth.
