Professional profile

Dr Declan O'Regan is an Honorary Consultant Cardiac Radiologist and Clinician Scientist at Hammersmith Hospital. He is head of the Robert Steiner MRI Unit which is an MRC Clinical Research Facility. His PhD was awarded by Imperial College London in cardiac imaging. He has a special interest in MRI of adult cardiomyopathy and is accredited in both Cardiac MRI and CT (Level 3). His research into the genetic causes of heart disease is funded by the MRC, BHF and NIHR.
