Dr Marshall was appointed Consultant Cardiologist at Central Middlesex Hospital 2008 and a Honary Cardiology Consultant at Imperial College, London in 2009.
He has a specialist interest in interventional cardiology with a private practice that covers general and interventional cardiology. He is actively involved in both undergraduate and post-graduate teaching with students from Imperial College.
Completed internship at Groote Schuur Hospital, Cape Town. Registar in General Medicine and Senior Registrar in Cardiology at Groote schuur Hospital (1995-2003). Awarded Fellow of the College of Physicians (South Africa) in 1998.
Awarded Medical Research Council Fellowship 2000 and undertook research in Prof Opie's laboratory at the Hatter Institute, Cape Town linked to University College London.
