I am a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist in North London wi th extensive experience in the field of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), fertility and menstrual problems and gynaecological ultrasound. My training involved posts in UCL with Professor Howard Jacobs (a world expert in PCOS) and my research involved validation of new 3D ultrasound techniques in PCO and fertility patients. I provide a 3D gynaecological ultrasound service which is particularly useful in fertility patients for checking for uterine abnormality. I have extensive experience of assisted conception (IVF, IUI, ovulation induction) having carried out research and clinical duties at The London Women's Clinic at 113-115, Harley Street. I am an experienced gynaecological surgeon and deal exclusively with benign conditions. I carry out both hysteroscopic and laparoscopic procedures related to fertility and menstrual disorders. I would make the appropriate referral to specialist colleagues in cases of malignancy or cases requiring extensive minimally invasive surgery.
Obstetrically, my interest is in pregnancies complicated by significant maternal medical disorders such as epilepsy, renal disease, pre-eclampsia etc. My obstetric private practice is limited to pre-pregnancy counselling for patients with significant disorders or a past history of a pregnancy complicated by maternal illness. I do not deliver obstetric patients privately but am happy to give recommendations for optimal management of a future pregnancy.
My practice is organised from Woolaston House Private Medical Chambers in Highgate and I consult at The Portland, St John and St Elizabeth's and Highgate Private Hospitals.
